Q. Do I have to activate Yenka on every client machine on my network?

A. No, you do not. You should first activate Yenka on your server by running the application and following the activation steps. Then when you deploy Yenka to your client machines, it will be installed pre-activated and ready to go.

Q. Why would I need to install the Registry Patch Installer you provide?

A. If you are running Yenka from a shared network folder, you may find that real-PCB will not run. (real-PCB is installed along with Yenka and is used for routing PCB circuit designs.) The registry patch installer is used to install the necessary real-PCB registry settings to overcome this problem.

Q. When I try to install the product I get a message saying "An unidentified program wants access to your computer". What does this mean?

A. This means that the Yenka installer is not digitally signed. If you receive this message, press 'Allow' to continue the installation. Please note that Yenka is fully compatible with Windows Vista and Windows XP.
