Using The Transistor - Sensing Circuits
Added by M Hoben on Dec 15, 2008
The aim of this activity is to further students' understanding of a transistor being used as a switch in combination with a potential divider and variable resistors. Pupils observe the effects of changing the light level upon an LDR, and see that the sensitivity of the circuit can be adjusted by altering the resistance of a variable resistor.
