The four new Yenka products for Design and Technology - Yenka Electronics, PCBs, PICs and Gears - combine together seamlessly to replace our existing Crocodile Technology simulation software.

Schools using Crocodile Technology can take advantage of special upgrade prices:

  • If you had a current Crocodilia for Crocodile Technology subscription on December 7 2007, you'll get a free upgrade for your full Crocodile Technology licence to the four Yenka products for Technology. Please contact us about this.
  • If you have a Crocodile Technology licence, you'll get 50% off the standard price when purchasing all of the Yenka products for Technology together. To find out how much this will cost, please go to Prices

Upgrade your existing licence

These upgrades convert your existing Crocodile Technology licence into a licence for the four Yenka products for Technology.

  • If you have a concurrent licence for Crocodile Technology, which covers a set number of computers, you'll get a licence for Yenka covering the same number of computers.
  • If you have a school site licence for Crocodile Technology, you'll get a school site licence for the four Yenka products.

Upgrade and convert to a school site licence

If you have a concurrent use licence - which covers a limited number of computers - the standard upgrade prices will let you use Yenka on the same number of computers.

However, you can convert to a school site licence at the same time as upgrading. This could save you up to 55% on the price of a full school site licence. To find out how much this will cost, please go to Prices

How do I get my upgrade?

If you've got Crocodile Technology, we've written a letter to your Head of Design and Technology, at the bottom of which is a voucher entitling you to the reduced price upgrades and site licence conversions.

If you've not received this letter yet, please contact us and let us know your name, school and address. We'll check your eligibility, and then produce a voucher for you with which you can order the upgrade.
