Online Activation through a Proxy Server
If you connect to the internet through a Proxy Server, then you need to tell Yenka about it.
To configure Yenka for your Proxy Server connection:
- Start the Yenka plugin from the Yenka desktop icon or the Start menu.
- If your plugin is not activated, a screen will appear asking you whether you would like to 'Activate Products' or 'Try Free Samples'. Choose to 'Activate Products'.
- This will open a second screen which will ask you to enter your Activation Key. If you have previously chosen 'Try Free Samples', then you will need to click on the question mark and then click 'Licence Details...' and then 'Update Licence' to get to this screen. Click on the 'configure your connection' link.
- Manually add details about your Proxy Server. You may need to ask your network administrator for this information. Click 'OK'.
- Now click on the 'Activation Key' link and Enter the Activation Key you received when you registered your serial number. You can login to Yenka.com at http://www.yenka.com/login and go to 'your licences' if you cannot remember your activation key.
- Once you have entered your Activation Key press 'Activate'.
If you are still having trouble, check that your proxy settings were entered correctly and that your Activation Key is correct. If you are still having problems, contact support@yenka.com
