This week's activities: correlation & causation, reactivity of metals and changing current

We've got some more new activities for use with Yenka.  This week's activities are...

Reactivity of metals

Made with Yenka Science - (Inorganic Chemistry)

This model shows the reactions of sodium, lithium and potassium with water, and uses observations of these reactions to determine the order of reactivity of these metals.

Changing current

Made with Yenka Science - (Electricity & Magnetism)

In this model, different resistors are placed in a circuit with variable voltage. Current-voltage graphs are drawn and used to determine the relationship between resistance, current and voltage.

Correlation vs Causation

Made with Yenka Mathematics - (Statistics)

This model shows an example of a scatter graph that shows negative correlation between variables that are not related. It then introduces the concept of closeness to the line of best fit as a measure of significance and asks the student to find significant correlations.

Using the activities

To use these classroom activities, you need Yenka installed on your computer.

Then simply click the link and open the activity you want, and start experimenting!
