To move a single object

  1. Move the cursor over your chosen object. Click and hold the mouse button, and move the mouse. The object will follow the cursor.
  2. Once you have positioned the object, release the mouse button and the object will be added to the scene.
  3. If an object cannot be placed at the chosen position, the no-go cursor will appear, and the object will be deleted when the mouse button is released.

Ruler

The ruler will snap to various points of interest on objects from the motion, optics and waves areas of the software. These points are called hot spots. When dragging a ruler around, these hot spots will appear on objects from the motion, optics and waves areas in the scene. Dragging the end of a ruler onto one of these hot spots will link the ruler to the hot spot.
