Cyberpet project
Together with Revolution Education (www.picaxe.com), we have developed a new project for Yenka.
Designed for KS3/S1-S3 (age range 11-14), the Cyberpet Project introduces electronic monitoring and control. A PICAXEb microcontroller controls an electronic pet with LED 'eyes' and a piezo sounder 'voice' that reacts to touch (via a push switch) and light (via a miniature LDR).
You can download your copy of the Cyberpet project free of charge.
Links with other Yenka products
Yenka PICs can be used on its own. It also works seamlessly with other Yenka products, sharing the same user interface:
- If you've got Yenka Electronics, you can design input and output circuits for your PIC or PICAXE, and test them with the chip.
- If you've also got Yenka PCBs, you can create and simulate PCB designs containing your programmed PIC chips, and export them for manufacture.
